Citrix Systems announced that the company is working with Microsoft in an expanded global partnership called V-Alliance to deliver a comprehensive set of virtualization solutions to address customers’ desktop and server virtualization needs. V-Alliance gives Citrix and Microsoft partners access to special sales and marketing tools, as well as content, demo resources, promotions and training offers from both companies.

All organizations currently enrolled in both the Citrix Solution Advisor program and Microsoft Partner Network are eligible to participate in V-Alliance. To enroll, simply visit the V-Alliance website. North America partners currently enrolled in the Citrix and Microsoft Virtualization Partner campaign will automatically be transitioned to V-Alliance.

• Partners will receive consistent and standardized training and certification throughout the complete stack that will allow them to achieve comprehensive skills for delivering Citrix-Microsoft joint virtualization solutions.
• Partners will receive access to sales materials to help sell joint Citrix-Microsoft virtualization solutions. Sales materials include customer-facing presentations, solution collateral, sales briefs, competitive positioning and more.
• Partners will receive access to marketing materials that include email templates and various marketing collateral customized by partners to help interest customers in joint Citrix-Microsoft virtualization solutions.
• Registered partners may be eligible to receive free training vouchers for key Citrix products and discounted exam vouchers on key Microsoft virtualization competencies.
