Wyse technology recently introduced its Wyse X90cw mobile thin client. As a thin client, it has no hard drives and no server-side data is stored on the device; all data is stored and accessed remotely. The X90cw has an Intel Atom processor and 11.6-inch LED-backlit screen. It has a starting weight of 3.2 lbs and its six-cell battery is claimed to provide up to eight hours of battery life. Other specifications include 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 2.1, and 3G card support.

The X90cw comes standard with Windows Embedded Standard 2009 and is optimized for Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, Microsoft Terminal Server and Hyper-V, and VMware View environments.
